My First Christmas - Santa Baby

Mommy and Daddy told me that we spend Christmas Eve at Nana and Grampa Roth's house with Auntie Jessie and Uncle Mike, and then on Christmas Day we go to Grampa Joe and Grandma Bobbie's house. So on Christmas Eve we headed over to Nana and Grampa's house to celebrate, it started snowing and Mommy said that we might get 21 inches by morning and hoped that it didn't get too bad to travel home tonight. I fell asleep in the car on the way over and slept in my car seat while everyone else enjoyed appetizers and drinks for dinner.

When I woke up and after Mommy fed me, everyone took turns holding me and talking to me and oh...taking a bunch of pictures of me in my cute outfits Mommy dressed me in. We then opened up presents and since I am still so tiny, Mommy and Daddy opened mine...Nana and Grampa gave me Christmas pajamas (a tradition that my Nana had when she was a little girl), a toy and a sterling silver tree ornament with my name on it (another tradition that Nana did every year with Mommy and Auntie Jessie).

This old man showed up and he was dressed just like me (Nana and Grampa bought me this red outfit with matching hat the week before Christmas)...he kept laughing and saying HO-HO-HO, and kept asking if we were good girls and boys. Mommy put me on his lap and he gave me a toy, while Nana, Mommy, and Auntie Jessie took pictures. When he left everyone said, "Goodbye Santa!"; I guess that is his name.

Nana didn't want to play any games, she just wanted to hold me all night. She told everyone that I gave her the best gift of all this Christmas. I don't know what I did, I just looked up at her and "smiled". We didn't stay real late as the roads were getting bad and Mommy and Daddy wanted to get home safe. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT!

Thanksgiving Day- One Month Old

My first family holiday. Mommy and Daddy brought me over to Nana and Grampa's house and so many people were there, Auntie Jessie, Uncle Mike, Charlie (a friend of our family for years) and Katie (a friend of Nana and Grampa).

Nana says that Thanksgiving is for family and friends and that anyone who does not have a place to go for dinner...they are welcome to join our family.

Today, I am so thankful for my family, they love me so much and I love them too.

Home Sweet Home

Grampa came over to see me the first night I came home from the hospital. He told me I was so tiny and cute...I know he is so proud to be my grampa.

Nana loves me so much, she keeps kissing my head and hands; before they left she sang me my song again. Nana didn't want to leave, but since Mommy and Daddy were so tired...Grampa made her.

My BIRTH day

I was born on November 11, 2009 at 4:52pm and weighed 6lbs 8oz and 20" long.

This is the moment I met my "Nana" and Grampa, they came to the hospital when I was only 1 hour old. I couldn't see Nana yet, but she sang me my very first song "Fuzzy Wuzzy"and told me how much she loved me. My Grampa got to hold me too, and he told me that I was his "Brock-a-dile Dundee". He kept saying "and you call that a knife?"...haven't understood that one yet, but I'm sure one day he will tell me.
